Are
you as “intelligent” as your products?
If your
company develops embedded software for intelligent products please
read on, subscribe and forward to your peers, as this could save you
(and them) much time and money. If not then thank you for your time
and please forward to those that do.
Launching
a successful intelligent product is tough. You’re expected to
deliver products in a shorter time but with all those extra bells
and whistles that your customers demand and competition is rife and
coming at you from all corners of the globe. Oh yes, and the product
has to launch on time. Complexity increases whilst time and cost has
to decrease. Oh yes, and the desired features change at the
11th hour.
So,
what’s new? You’ve been working like this for years; you’ve been
increasing performance whilst reducing power consumption and have
been developing yet more code to communicate wirelessly, to be more
secure and to run more applications.
What’s
new is that you have to do this with even less development budget
and time and possibly less resource. Like most industries, the
electronics industry is really suffering with many people being
laid-off. And it’s not just product manufacturers, it’s also the
companies all along the supply chain who provide components and
support needed to get products to work and launch on
time.
It’s a
cliché but it’s no less true that OEMs need to work smarter and not
harder. There are only so many hours in the day and people still
have lives they need to lead to stay motivated and
effective.
What are
two of your biggest challenges?
Development
cost and time
Ok, that
was obvious, but what takes up the most cost and time on any
development of an intelligent project? Research shows that software
development is the largest part of any budget, uses the most
engineering resource and is the biggest reason for products being
late to market or projects being cancelled
entirely.
If you
could save your company many thousands or even tens of thousands of
pounds worth of development cost and time would you be interested?
If so,

If you
could plug in working source code instead of write and debug the
code from scratch would you be interested?
If so
then drop us an email at info@proven-software.com
and tell us what you need by clicking
here. We will try and source the code with no obligation to you.
If you
have software that you think could be useful to others and would
like us to consider licensing on your behalf then let
us know.
